First day.. (departure day)--
wake up at 3am then went down wif my maid to uob atm at faber houset o take money.. then somehow the stupid atm "ate up" my card..wad the.. tt's my mum's card man.. dunno if can get back withour her coming to spore.. haha.. then i took a taxi to sch and smsed to my mum in the mean time.. she somewad scolded me.. but tt's not purely my fault wad.. the pin is correct and i have use the card on tt atm b4.. haix.. then arrived sch at 3.15.. haha.. quite a no of ppl there already... later on the teachers came and those who camp for the night in cchs had to climb the gate... haha.. then later on the bus came.. the bus looks very new and big and when it swtiched on it's lights.. we all echo out.. wah... haha.. quite stupid..
we boarded the bus after we had "dumped" our luggage at the luggage area below... haha.. i was sitting wif joel.. haha.. he brought a colour gameboy pokemon... haha.. aniwae.. tt bus was teh fastest bus i have rode.. it zoom pass the expressway faster than cars and motorbike.. wah laox.. bus it was a very smooth ride.. haha.. then we got off at singapore immigration.. then went to malaysian imigration.. haha.. frmo there, we went to johore's senai airport and take air asia to sabah.. jus know tt budget airline had a boarding pass tt looks like cold storage reciept, no seat no, no light snacks served.. haha.. the air trip took bout 2 hour.. when we reached sabah, got a bus there and an old tour guide.. haha.. she laugh at herself and make her own decision... haha... then quite mao dun.. sometimes said tt the ppl lived happily and simply.. then other times say ppl not happy and wanted to migrate.. haha.. then she took us for lunch at a restaurant.. the food is not bad.. then we went to sabah foundation building.. it's the tallest building in sabah and the only glass building withour supporting columns in asia.. ahha.. the building looks like a bullet.. haha..
then went pass this new uni there... it's very big and nice and very grand.... haha... then from there we took a 2 hour +++ bus ride up the mountains to the kinabalu park head quarters where we register to climb.. the ride is quite bumpy and i manages to take a few pics from the window.. haha.. then for the evening, we stayed at this "moth place" near the hq... i slept with james, wee shiun, alvin, i tink brendan.. we had to share with 2 ang moh.. haha.. then the rest slept in 3 separate bunk.. the biggest one is where the NCOs, ms lai and the three girls slept.. then we spent the time playing cards and kicking sepak takraw... haha..
for dinner, went to this restaurant near there... it started to rain when we were eating and somehow we were stuck there... haha.. luckily got a van transport us back to our bunk.. haha... and.. 1 ting.. the place there is full of moth... many many with different colours and shapes... especially in the bathroom.. haha... then we went to sleep after brushing our teeth and play a few rounds of dai di.. haha
2nd day... climbing day..
we walked back to hq to meet with out 6 mountain rangers and get out tag.. we also left our luggage bag there so tt we only need to carry our haversack...haha.. then from there, got a bus to transport us to timpohon gate where the climbing starts.. the temp was about 20+0.. the starting part is easy but it gets harder and harder.. the steps get higher, more difficult and more slippery as we went on.. the path was first laid out in wood planks for us.. then it started to get lesser and at last we only got stones to step on.. haha.. ms lai get quite nausea.. maybe she had acute mountain sickness... haha... then mr gan sprained his leg halfway... the 6 teams start to get separated as we climbed with the "same speed" ppl... we also had to eat quite a lot of choclate bars to boost our energy.. i was climbing with james, wee shiun and cassandra.. wee shiun took care of cassandra all the way... haha.. hold her hand somemore.. haha.. the trees also get lesser as we climbed higher and the temp was dropping.. it was about 60 at Laban rata which is 3.7 km above the mountain and we had to walked 6 km to reach there as were need to go rounds.. haha..
along the way we also took quite a lot of pics.. haha.. then as it get higher, we climbed at a slower rate as we need to breate mroe to replace our oxygen... haha.. but at last we reached laban rata.. some of the faster ppl were already having hot fried rice.. haha.. then mr ang gave us our room keys.. i was in the 10 bed room.. our room is considered quite big compared to the rest.. the three teacher, james(sec 2) and the 3 girls slept in 1 room at teh first storey... haha.. we started to gather round the heater and dry our wet shirts, socks, gloves as it had jus rain.. even if tehre is no rain, there will always be water as we were as high as the clouds.. i went to ate the buffet and after some cards.. we went to sleep haha..
3rd day.. summit climb and climbing down day..
we woke up at around 2 am.. we were supposed to climb to the summit which is bout 2.7 km of walking distance.. we were supposed to climb in the dark using our torch light so tt we could watchedt eh sunrise from the summit.. haha.. but it was cancelled as there is strong winds and rain... so we made coffee then watched euro 2004.. ahha.. but find it very sianz.. so i go back bunk play cards.. then halfway fall asleep again... ahha.. woke up at around 5+ realising they still playing cards... then some bo liaos including me wear full gear and went outisde which is freezing cold and tried to take some pics...haha... then after tt went to pack up bags.. ate breakfast.. then at around 7+ everybody is ready to go and took a photo with the mt kinabalu ncc climb banner... and we started our climb down... as usual.. i will be triggering the camera at the nice scenery which makes cassandra and wee shiun quite impatient... ahha.. sorrie sorrie.. haha..
we were behind with the teachers... ahha.. took our own sweet time to get down.. mr gan got 1 time told m rang, “I tink u walk behind me better.. like tt I will at least feel better”… haha.. mr gan was having jelly legs.. haah… but after bout 5+ hour, we finally reached the timpohon gate at bout 2+... ahha.. benedick reached there at 10.33... haha.. then took bus back to hq where we got our luggage bag back and took bus down to the poring hotspring hostel... haha... the place there is quite warm as it is quite low down at teh mountain... haha.. but there are many lizards and bugs... haha.. i went with james and benedick to explore the place while the rest played soccer... we took a photo of mr gan and mr ang in the hot spring.. haha... after tt we went for dinner... the food not very nice.. almost all is veg and the fish still got the sea water smell... haha.. after tt went back to play cards… and aniwae.. we didn’t manage to go for canopy walk, rose garden and veg market the next day as the tourguide wanted us to check in to our hotel tomorrow early and then went shopping.. *slacker… haha… tt nite we stripped joel… haha… then also got tok some stories in the darkness of the room… haha… then went to sleep after tt…
4th day… hot spring, rose garden, veg market day…
we had breakfast at 8.15.. then we went to swim at the pool… where we splashed water… ahah.. quite childish.. then went for hot spring.. too bad the water is filling up so slow tt we need to go back and check out.. ahha… I was quite rushed in packing the bag as we were supposed to reached the reception at 10.15.. haha.. then I and shi kai bought a glow in the dark mt k shirt.. haha.. cost 35 riggit.. haha.. quite ex lar.. but well, it glows in the dark and is a memory tt we had climbed mt k.. haha..
from there we went to eat lunch first… wee shiun was not feeling well.. he puked out all the food… then we gave him a glass of warm water… haha… he’s feeling much better then.. the tour guide announced tt we will be going to rose garden and veg market as there is a landslide.. at rose garden I took lots of pics.. including the roses, some unknown flowers, cactus… we also look at this plant called “tongkat ali” it’s a traditional medicine tt acts like Viagra…
then we went to veg market… I bought some salak.. other ppl also got buy bananas, and other fruits.. haha.. then we proceed on to the ruby inn hotel but as there was this landslide, we had to parked beside a small restaurant to wait for the thing to clear.. it was 2.05 tt time.. haha.. we were told tt it would took bout 3 hours… the driver stop the engine as it’s eating up the fuel and we went outside the bus to play cards… ahah..
it’s getting wuite sinaz lar.. so we sometimes walk around, tok tok… then i, james, wee shiun, james 2, jacksen, kai liang and the 3 girls walked for bout 10 mins uphill to the next restaurant where ms lai and the NCOs had set off for half an hour b4 us.. the traffic is bad there… we realised tt the restaurant stopped for 1 hour cause it cannot cope with the demand.. haha… there I took some nice sunset photo… and mt k photo… ahha… then walked back to the bus..
well… put it simply.. we waited till the sky went dark.. till those beautiful stars appeared.. the bright moon shine.. and we r still on the bus… ahha… the weater is quite stuffy but many ppl managed to sleep.. at around 1+, I went out with james, wee shiun, qing yi and 3 girls as we were at the back of the bus which is the most stuffy and hot place.. we played truth there using a stone… ahah… suddenly ms lai appeared sia.. then she sat quite near us… haha.. we were scared tt she heard our conversation.. ahaha… then always tried to locate her b4 we tok.. haha.. she get quite pissed tills he said.. I wont be concentrating on wad u all toking bout.. haha.. got 1 time m rang came and told us to soften our voice as the whole bus could hear our laughter… ahha.. *quite scared they heard our conversation too.. haha… then it wad already bout 2+ and the girls were quite tired.. so we went back to the bus and sleep.. not long after, the uncle started to drive off but stopped again as there is traffic jam.. haha.. then the rest of the happening I’m not clear.. wad I know is tt joel told me the ride is super super bumpy and fast.. kai liang had to hold on to the seat handle and james were like flying up and down.. ahha… but too bad I’m in my dreamland… haha..
5th day.. final day…
I woke up at around 5 when the bus stopped at a restaurant… we are free to order wad we want… ahha… I was thinking.. how come the dinner is at 5am not at 5pm.. haha… well I had not eaten dinner from yest nite… I ordered milo ice…. Then got some others ordered milo, the tarik, coffee and plain water… I ordered a plate of mee goring too… most of us ordered mee goring, fried rice, magee mee and roti prata… haha.. but somehow, I only get my food at 6.05 am… haha.. it taste ok larh… haha…
Then we went to dunno wad jaya hotel… a four star one.. haha.. the tour company upgrade for us.. we book in at 6.30.. breakfast own time own target after 7… must be at the lobby prepared by 8.30… haix.. now the room got tv, aircon, bathroom, so nice.. but can only stay for 2 hours… then we took the coach to airport to check in… haha.. the insurance company tried to sell name braceet.. but too bad dunt have my name and I heard it’s quite gay… haha.. white and read… very obiang… haha.. then we took air asia back to johore.. I slept almost for the whole trip.. haha..wad.. from there then we took coach to this golf course… we ate at the sea food restaurant there.. actually this si not in the scheldule.. but cause we got extra money due to yest nite’s stuck in the bus,…
Then when thru the immigration… I’m in the foreign passport lane.. and it’s very slow… the coach almost left me sia.. haha… then we went to cchs.. it’s already bout 3+… haha.. dunno y mr yue came to us and them mr peck took 3 packs of new water bottle and offer us.. haha.. I took taxi home with james and drop him at lavender mrt as I pass there.. and 1 ting.. my leg is very pain.. I dunno how I am going to climb the stairs on mon…
